New Media Studio and Fellowships
I founded the New Media Studio and Fellowship program two-years ahead of the Exploratorium's relocation—150 new exhibits needed to be developed and 450 refurbished. Post-graduate Fellows gained real-world experience and the museum benefited from their fresh points-of-view and expertise with emerging technologies.
Here, TV coverage of a reinvented exhibit by New Media Fellow Lotte Meijer was a highlight of the Exploratorium Color Collection and cited in Exhibit Designs for Girls’ Engagement. Fellows led public workshops and helped the museum break new ground in multiple areas.
