Tracking and VR (Three-Exhibit Cluster)
Reinventing Reality

7,000 sq. ft. Virtual Science Center Traveling Exhibition
15 cities | 3M visitors

In “Tracking Movement” visitors selectively turn translational tracking (side-side, up-down, forward-back) and/or rotational tracking (which direction the headset is pointing) “on” and “off” to see and feel what happens. In another two exhibits, visitors experiment with outward-facing built-in headset cameras (Inside-Out Tracking) and external cameras that track infrared Headset LEDs (Outside-In) to understand methods to track headset position, and how accelerometers and gyroscopes work in tandem (sensor fusion) to track rotational movements.
