PERSPECTIVE INSPECTOR
Reinventing Reality
UC Berkeley's Lawrence Hall and Science Centers Across North America

7,000 sq. ft. Virtual Science Center Traveling Exhibition
15 cities | 3M visitors

Visitors explore identical side-by-side digital and analog scenes via matched perspective at three different locations. With no drawing experience required, visitors easily create surprisingly fast and good 3-D perspective drawings that match up exactly on digital and analog models.

On the digital side, visitors slide a VR headset between stations. Since the headset’s position is tracked, perspectively correct in-between images display in real time on a large external display, Visitors feel they're seeing real 3-D objects rather than a series of 2-D pictures. What visitors would normally see inside the headset is shown externally on a large display (as with Dive Into VR) inviting social interaction and “aha!” moments.
